Welcome to my blog. I am in my sophomore year of high school, and am starting a journey. I will travel one hundred thousand miles on United Airlines. Some people think I'm crazy, and wonder what I will get out of this. Well, if I fly 100,000 miles between now and 12/31, I will reach 1K. 1K status is one of the highest status levels on United Airlines. As a 1k member, I will be entitled to numerous benefits, such as systemwide upgrades.
As a first step, I have planned a mileage run.
I will be flying from LA, to San Francisco, to Sydney and back.
I will spend 8 hours in Sydney.
It will be a test of endurance, but I am up for the challenge.
